Since 1986 SignHealth has been providing services for the Deaf community and campaigning for more Deaf-awareness and better access. We are very proud of the care and support we provide at our six residential homes for Deaf people with long term mental health challenges and complex needs. And in August we will be opening our newest home in Leeds!
A big thank you to everyone who has joined or supported us over the past 35 years! We have big plans for the years ahead and we continue to appreciate any donations to our work improving the health and wellbeing of Deaf people.
Why does SignHealth provide specialist social care services?
Some Deaf people need additional support in order to live safely or carry out ordinary tasks. This support is much more effective when delivered by staff who know BSL and understand Deaf culture.
