Going alcohol free for a month can improve your health and wellbeing.
Get sponsored. Asking your friends and family to sponsor your No Alcohol January is a great way to add some extra motivation, all while raising money for an amazing cause.
Why should I sign up? What are the benefits?
Not drinking alcohol for a month can offer an array of health benefits. Not only will you have a better night’s sleep, it can also help you to lose weight, have more energy, and enjoy a more positive outlook on life.
It can also help to reduce the harmful effects of alcohol, boosting your immune system and reducing your risk of liver and heart disease, cancer and high blood pressure.
Giving up alcohol for a month is also a good way to save money and you might decide to donate some of what you save.
When does No Alcohol January start? From 1st January 2023.
How long do I have to stay dry? One month, until 31st January 2023.
Can I raise money for SignHealth in my No Alcohol January challenge?
Of course! If this is something you would like to do. You don’t have to fundraise but you are welcome to make fundraising part of your No Alcohol January Challenge.
Asking your friends and family to sponsor your No Alcohol January is a great way to add some extra motivation and you will be raising money to sponsor the work that SignHealth does at the same time.

Where can I get support if I have concerns about my drinking?
You can find information about alcohol awareness on Drinkaware.co.uk. If you have any concerns about your drinking then please contact your GP.
